Vacheron Constantin, the oldest watchmaker to have maintained the same name since its foundation in Geneva in 1755, is renowned for its perpetual calendar, a feature of many of its watches. The one of the 2010 Vacheron Constantin model does not disappoint. With its platinum case, the perpetual calendar offers an artistic interpretation - and not merely a graphic one - of the phases of the moon. Alongside the calendar is a chronograph with column wheel.
CASE: platinum, circular, the case-back with sapphire-crystal glass revealing the movement.
DIAL: slate, Dauphine hands, baton markers.
MOVEMENT: mechanical with manual winding, 21 jewels, 45-hour power reserve, 18,800 vibrations per hour.
FUNCTIONS: hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, chronograph, perpetual calendar with phases of the moon.
